SAD MLAs to go on thanks tours in Punjab

North Indian State Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal with the newly elected SAD MLAs have been visited on many religious places for following “thanks giving” tours.

Before addressing meeting of newly elected MLAs in Chandigarh, Prakash singh Badal with his son Sukhbir Singh Badal visited Golden Temple and Durgiana Mandir in Amritsar on March 7 also with their family.

After that they carried on for Anandpur Sahib, to being a part of the Hola Mohalla celebrations.

However their “thanks giving mission” would continue till March 14 before the swearing-in ceremony. At this time non-Congress chief ministers have come together on some issues like National Counter Terrorism Centre and all know that Akalies victory in Punjab by assembly election is only due to the Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP coalition.

Iran-India trade will increase trade: FIEO President

The joint secretary in the commerce ministry, Arvind Mehta and M Rafeeque Ahmed, president of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has led the trade dialogue on Friday left for Tehran to explore business opportunities in the oil-rich country.

As per official report, they will be in Iran till March 14 to hold meetings with Iranian chambers of commerce and businessmen to explore new investment opportunities in Iran.

From last two months, U.S. and European Union tried to force India by amid accelerated efforts to push sanctions against Iran.

As per RBI new policy, CRR is more than a liquidity measure ease as CRR cut releases Rs48,000 crore back to banks. It facilitates the more than Rs20, 000 crore of advance tax that companies will have to pay by March 15.

Veena Malik will soon fly back to Pakistan

The so-called Rakhi Sawant of Pakistan, Veena Malik has recently said in an interview that she will be back in her home country Pakistan soon to do some projects and will roll-out her own music album.

However, the Pakistani actress Veena Malik is doing 3 films in India – ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kala Hai’, ‘Zindagi Fifty Fifty’ and ‘Bombay 125 Km’.

Talking to media, she said, “I am also doing a film ‘Super Model’ with Ashmit Patel.”

According to her, her upcoming film ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kala Hai’ is a comedy, and she is playing a sex worker in ‘Zindagi Fifty Fifty’ and ‘Bombay 125 Km’ is a 3D thriller-horror.

She added that all the three films are almost complete, expect for ‘Super Model’, as it’s shoot will start in June.

Further, talking about her upcoming music album, Veena Malik said, “I wanted to sing right from the beginning of her career but her friends suggested that she concentrate on acting.”

Kishenji’s close helper Suchitra Mahato surrenders in Kolkata

Suchitra Mahato, a top woman Maoist leader, also a close aide of Kishenji, surrendered on Friday to the Intelligence branch. Suchitra had escaped after the Maoist top-gun Kishenji was killed last year by the joint forces on November 24 at Burisole jungle.

Calling Suchitra’s attempt of surrender an “offer of peace”, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said, “”Suchitra used to lead the Maoist and was a very important (Maoist leader). She has surrendered for ushering in peace. This is a big thing. Bengal lagged behind. Let’s work for peace to lead the state forward.”

Further, in her appeal to Maoists to stop violence, Mamata said, “I appeal to those still holding arms to surrender and return to the mainstream. We are proud that brothers and sisters of the Maoist party are surrendering.”

Jat protest: Haryana bandh calls, rail route may get affected

Violent action of forces over the Jat community blew more fire on the matter while one youth agitator Sandeep, 18, died allegedly in the ‘police firing’ which lead violent protests in the entire Hisar district on 6 March.

Thousands of agitators are still sitting on the railway track along with the body of Sandeep on the Ramayan’s Railway track, which connect Delhi to Hisar, near Mayyar village.

The angry Jat agitators have decided to call for a Haryana bandh on Saturday by blocking the highways of atleast 20-25 neighbouring villages across the state. The bandh has affected Hissar, Fatehabad and Jind.
