Anil Kapoor: Actors like John Abraham inspire me to stay fit

The evergreen Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is very health conscious and he is among the fittest actor in the industry. Anil Kapoor is 53-years-old and he is still very young, playing a role of young cop in his next film ‘Shootout at Wadala’ with Bollywood hunk John Abraham in the lead role.

However, the film is a prequel of 2007 released film ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ directed by Sanjay Gupta. ‘Shootout at Wadala’ is based on the book “Dongri to Dubai” written by Hussain Zaidi. The story of the film rotates around the life of underworld such as Sabir Ibrahim, Manya Surve and Dawood Ibrahim.

Talking to media, actor Anil Kapoor said, “Young and fit actors like John Abraham help and inspire me to stay in good shape even at this age. His body, muscles and level of fitness is amazing.”

He added, “And if I keep working in such films and with such actors then by God’s grace I will definitely be able to work till the age of 90.”

Anil Kapoor was sharing his views with media along with producer Ekta Kapoor in New Delhi last eveing at the first look launch of the film.

He said, “I am doing an action packed thriller after a long time. I was very excited when I was offered the role of ACP Isaque Bagwan in the film.”

Further, Anil Kapoor said, “Action films are indeed dangerous but if you have action directors like Tinu Verma working on the film, everything gets comfortable. I have worked with him for the past 20-25 years and so I was not worried at all.”

The film ‘Shootout at Wadala’ features John Abraham, Tusshar Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpai, Mahesh Manjrekar and Ronit Roy and the film will release on May 1.
