“All I can tell you is I have not applied for pardon,” Dutt said when his sister and Congress MP Priya Dutt was also with him at that time.

Amid growing clamour over Pardon for Sanjay Dutt with folded hands said to abide by Supreme Court’s decision of sentencing a five year jail term upheld the conviction of Sanjay Dutt in 1993 Mumbai Blasts case for illegal possession of arms.

“The honourable Supreme Court has given me time to surrender and I will surrender in that time,” he further added not to debate about it as he is not going for pardon.

“I am shattered and this is the tough time in my life. With folded hands I request the media and citizens let me be at peace,” Dutt added His sister and Congress MP Priya Dutt was with him during media briefing.

Dutt who has already served 18 months in jail, found guilty in Mumbai Bombing case that killed 257 people. The court gave four-week time to surrender and after that he would undergo for three-and-a-half-years imprisonment.

Wishing a ‘calm and peaceful life’ for Sanjay Dutt, Banerjee said the actor had already suffered a lot for the blunder he committed earlier, reports said.

Salman who was out of the country for his medical treatment returned from USA on Saturday night and is likely to appear before the Session Court in Mumbai today.

This will be of Salman’s first appearance in court where he first time face the hearing of the case on charge of ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’.

Ten years ago, 2002, Super star Salman Khan committed this mistake, had involved in hit and run incident, charged with negligence driving of his Land Cruiser over people sleeping at the pavement outside a bakery in suburban Bandra in the wee hours of 28 March, September 2002. In this incident, one person had died and four injured.

Later on basis of 17 witnesses, the Bandra Magistrate’s Court had transferred the case to Sessions Court with a serious charge namely ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ against Salman.

The 47-year-old has asked to be present on Monday for hearing where the court would also hear his appeal against the Magistrate’s order and evidence will be produced before court.

Moroever, it is not one case against Dabangg actor as Salman is also facing trial with a serious offence of killing blackbucks in 1993 in Jodhpur during the shooting of Hum Sath Sath Hain’ with Saif Ali Khan and three others.

Now, wait is of today hearing which will decide fate of Salman and if found guilty then he may face imprisonment sentence to be in jail for of 10 years.

However, still Salman Khan has absent in the court due to illness. The actor is in the US for the treatment of a rare neurological disorder and was sought exemption from the court, expected to produce before court.

Salman Khan was charged under Section 51 of Wildlife Protection Act with hunting blackbucks, a protected animal, while Charges of Arms Act against him have been dropped.

Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre were charged under the Act with hunting and inciting Salman Khan to poach blackbucks.

If all are found guilty, then they could face up to six years in jail, reports said.

All these actors denied all the charges framed against them, said to file review petition.

Revised charges on Salman Khan are yet to be read out. Now, the next hearing of the case has fixed on April 27.

In 14 years old case of blackbucks shooting, the five actors were first charged in 1998 allegedly killing blackbucks in a village near Jodhpur, Rajasthan  during the shoot of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’.

Today, the court in Jodhpur reported to read out fresh charges against Salman Khan and four other actors who are accused in a 14-year-old case of killing two blackbucks during a film shooting in Rajasthan.

Beside Salman, the case has named co-accused Saif Ali Khan, Tabbu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam in connection with allegedly shot blackbucks at Kankani village in Jodhpur in 1998 during shooting of film their film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.

Salman will not be present in the court on Saturday, may ask to be exempted, while others are already arrived in Jodhpur for trial, reports said.

The Filmfare Award winner Salman is presently in the US for treatment of nerve disorder that causes facial spasms, and is expected to come up on Sunday morning or may be ask the Jodhpur court for an exemption.

Unfortunately, Dabangg Star also has to attend a hearing on March 25 for his 2002 hit-and-run case allegedly killed a person and injured four others asleep on the footpath near a bakery in Bandra driving his Land Cruiser recklessly on September 28, 2002.

Katju asked Maharashtra Government to pardon Sanjay Dutt on humanitarian grounds as he has already suffered and faced imprisonment, reports said.

The actor belong to family who served for society even the actor himself has spread Gandhian philosophy through his film ‘Munnabhai MBBS’, the biggest hit of the Bollywood.

Maharashtra government indicated to take appropriate decision if a plea is filed by the actor.

“Governor will use his discretionary power when there will be an appeal to him. He has the power to pardon. We should not comment on it,” law minister Aswini Kumar told reporters.

Katju has also sent a letter to Maharashtra governor K Sankarnarayanan requesting to grant pardon for the actor because he was not a terrorist and hasn’t been found involved in a terror act, reports added.

However, BJP leader Balbir Punj opposed the appeals seeking to pardon Dutt, said, the law should be equal for all and “Such moves will set a bad precedence.”

The Supreme Court upholding the conviction of Sanjay Dutt for five years in jail has order to surrender him within four weeks in the 1993 Bombay blasts case under the Arms Act after found guilty of possession of AK-56 and other illegal weapons.

Earlier 5year imprisonment sentence to the superstar with conviction under the Arms Act has brought a dramatic reversal in his journey.

Though the 53-year-old actor MunnaBhai will have to surrender within four weeks and if this would happened may sink a big sum of 350 crore of Bollywood projected on him.

Apoorva Lakhia’s ‘Zanjeer’ is the latest that would suffer a lot if Dutt go to jail. Sanjay was still completing the shoot of the remake of ‘Zanjeer’ Amitabh Bachchan starrer blockbuster in which the actor was roped in to play Sher Khan, originally played by Pran.

Another big-ticket movie is Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PeeKay’  starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma , Dharma Production’s ‘Unglee’, Rajkumar Gupta’s ‘Ghanchakkar’, TP Agarwal’s ‘Policegiri’ are other projects in which big amount of money invested on Dutt.

However, earlier, Sanjay Dutt committed to continue his films, but question is whether Dutt be go to jail and be able to strike back after completing his imprisonment.

“I am going to complete all my films and won’t let anyone down. I am overwhelmed by the support of my fans the industry people, the media and all the well wishers,” Sanjay Dutt hinted to be stronger though testing the toughest time of his life.
