HCL introduces Android 4.0 tablets worth Rs 7,999

As per latest introduced tech report, two amazing HCL Ice Cream Sandwich tablets launched by HCL Infosystems.

One is as its name HCL ME U1, just made for make users well experienced with tablets computers as it runs on Android 4.0 operating system with 17 local apps.

Focusing over youth in colleges and institutions, the company’ second HCL MyEdu Tab, a K12 version tablet is specially to fulfill the needs of learners that demand higher education institutions.

Introducing the new launch tablets, Gautam Advani, EVP & Head, Mobility, HCL Infosystems told reporters, “The tablet market in India is growing at a rapid pace and the device is fast enriching consumer’s lives by finding unique usages from a learning companion to a productivity enhancer.”

7 inch HCL ME U1 has spot Wi-fi connectivity with full USB, mini USB and a Micro SD card slot and provides 800X480 pixel screen resolution with front camera. It facilitates a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, with an internal expandable memory of 4GB to 32GB.

HCL ME U1 will be available at a price of Rs 7,999, while the second MyEduTab- K12 Version is priced at Rs. 11,499, has come in stores and educational institutes across the country from April 2012.

Registering same features of U1 tablet, the MyEduTab will be offering free educational apps along with NCERT books, with integrated back up service with HCL Touch, a 24X7 one touch service facility.

However MyEduTab has another version of Higher Education (HE), one of best tablet that is priced at Rs. 9, 999.
