Students will get Aakash tablets for Rs 1500

Aakash tablet that has launched by HRD Minister Kapil Sibal in last October, is going to be called as “world’s cheapest tablet” as its price for students will be decided only just Rs.1500.

The proposal has sent to HRD for approval, this has assured by the State Commissioner of Technical Education, S Balasubramanyam who said, “Once we get the approval, we will implement the scheme. We are planning to procure 10,000 tablets. Initially, they will be made available to the students of the state universities, engineering and polytechnic colleges.”

As per HRD, the tablet that has designed with an aim to bridge the “digital divide” between the rich and the poor and with cutting price as subsidiary, the government has aimed to provide the tablets in private college and university, which will be available for rent for students who cannot afford them.

Bajaj rolls-out KTM 200 Duke bike in India

As per the latest news from the technology sector, the Bajaj Auto Ltd has recently announced the launch of KTM Power Sports AG’s 200 Duke bike in India, expanding its portfolio of sports bikes.

During the launch of the new bike in a function in New Delhi, Mr. Stefan Pierer, CEO of KTM-Sportmotorcycles AG,and Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, MD Bajaj Auto were present there.

Meanwhile, the Bajaj owns a 39.26 percent interest in Austria’s KTM.

And the new 200 Duke, comes with the price tag of around Rs.117,500 ($2,340) at showrooms in New Delhi, will be available in the 32 exclusive showrooms in the 30 major cities of the country.

Samsung will roll-out Galaxy Nexus in India in March

According to the News Top Night from the technology sector, the all news Samsung Galaxy Nexus is all set to hit Indian electronic market in March, though the exact date of the launch of the device is not known yet.
