In the meantime, the India selectors have rested Virender Sehwag and R Ashwin and gave chance to Ajinkya Rahane and Irfan Pathan to play in the fifith ODI.

India has already won the series, and now they would surely try to end the series in a fine way. India team will soon fly to Australia thereafter. On the other hand, West Indies have replaced the injured Ravi Rampaul and Danza Hyatt with Anthony Martin and Jason Mohammed.

Virender sehwag 300x223 Virender Sehwag overtakes Sachin’s 200 runs in ODIsThe Indian captain Virender Shewag cracked a blasting double hundred in the 4th ODI against West Indies played at Indore today. The great moment was witnessed by more than 40,000 crowds at the Holkar Stadium.

Once again Sehwag created history in the cricket by scoring the highest ever individual scores in ODIs. Earlier, Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar holds this record, he scored 200 runs against South Africa in Gwalior on February 24, 2010.

Indian scored 418 runs in their 50 over play with the loss of 3 wickets. Opener Gautam Gambhir also played superbly today and got his first half century of the series. He got run out on an individual score of 67 runs.

Thereafter, Suresh Raina came to bat with Sehwag, he also got his fifty and he was also runs out on 55 runs made from 44 balls with the help of 6 fours.

However, Sehwag faces just 140 balls to complete his 200 runs.

Ravi Rampaul 231x300 India v/s West Indies: West Indies beat India by 16 runs in 3rd ODIIn a very dramatic way, India had lost the 3rd ODI match against touring team West Indies by 16-runs. The 3rd ODI was played at Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera in Gujarat.

Ravi Rampaul was the leading wicket taker and was later named as the man of the match. He took 4 wickets for 57 runs in his 8.5 overs including the important wickets of Indian captain Virender Sehwag and opener Gautam Gambhir for the first two balls of his spell.

Talking to media after winning the match, Ravi Rampaul said, “I would say it was about getting early breakthroughs.”

Further, the 27-year-old bowler from West Indies said, “My two visits for the Champions League have helped. The key to bowling on these pitches is to keep line and length, bowl wicket to wicket.”

Praveen Kumar ruled out Praveen Kumar ruled out of Australia Test MatchesAccording to the fresh reports from the world of cricket, Indian medium fast bowler Praveen Kumar has been ruled out of the upcoming test series against Australia after fracturing a rib.

The declaration was made by an official from the Indian Cricket Board.

While talking to media, an official from the board said, “Praveen Kumar underwent a scan last evening and was found to have a featured rib as per the report that came through today.”
