The first qualifier match of the Indian Premier League 2012 [IPL 2012] was played between Delhi Daredevils [DD] and Kolkata Knight Riders [KKR].
The Kolkata Knight Riders had made it possible in the fifth season of the IPL beating Delhi Daredevils by 18 runs in the Qualifier match played at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune 22 May 2012 – day/night (20-over match).

The match is scheduled to start at 8pm local time live on Set Max and will be played at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune 22 May 2012 – day/night (20-over match).
The Indian Premier League 2012 [IPL 2012] is very disappointing for the Pune Warriors India as well as skipper Sourav Ganguly.
But the PWI’s skipper Sourav Ganguly feels that any “post-mortem” about his team’s performance in the this season’s DLF IPL need not to be done right now.

The Kolkata Knight Riders [KKR] has managed to be at the 2nd position in the points table with a 34 runs win over Pune Warriors India [PWI] in the Indian Premier League match played at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune 19 May 2012 – day/night (20-over match).
Earlier, KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir won the toss and elected to bat first. KKR started well and scored 136 runs in the 20 overs. This is not a very good total in the Twenty20 cricket, and once it looked that PWI can win the match.

In a very interesting match yesterday, the Kolkata Knight Riders beats Rajasthan Royals by five wickets. The all-rounder from Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan was the hero of the match played at Eden Gardens at Kolkata.
He took 3 wickets for 17 runs in his 4 overs spell and then hit 16 valuable runs from 10 balls to help his team to a comfortable win. It was a low scoring match, but an interesting one.
