Gujarat Elections 2012: Congress, BJP selects social media to attract youths

Elections are knocking at the door and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress are now trying their level hard to attract youths in the Gujarat.

Both the political parties have now selected the social media to attract the youths in the state

In addition, the Congress party had recently launched its own website ‘Join Hands for Change’ and people can submit their grievances related to the Gujarat government.

In fact, the website is also linked to social networking sites so that high number of youth can be reached.

Now, the Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is also not far behind. The Gujarat BJP party announced that the person who will post maximum messages on its social media will get a chance to meet Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Talking to media, Spokesperson for Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee, Manish Doshi said, “This website allows youngsters and others to put forth their problems. It is an attempt by the party to give the people a voice.”
