U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has admitted in a New York hospital.
Clinton has been suffering from concussion for several weeks ago and while a follow up exam performed, her doctors discovered a blood clot stemming, as per her spokesperson Philippe Reines.
“She is being treated with anti-coagulants and is at New York-Presbyterian Hospital so that they can monitor the medication over the next 48 hours,” Reines added.
Clinton’s condition would be continually assessed by her doctor, including other issues associated with her concussion, Reines further added, “They will determine if any further action is required.”
The 65-year-old Clinton who early this month suffered a stomach infection has again diagnosed by a concussion while working at home alone in mid-December.
Meanwhile, all her trips for next week including North Africa and the Middle East have been canceled.
