According to latest news, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to suspend senior party leader and Rajya Sabha member Ram Jethmalani, who showed his disagreed nature in front of media on the appointment of the new CBI Chief Ranjit Sinha.
Further, Ram Jethmalani had also asked BJP President Nitin Gadkari to step down after the allegations of corruptions against him.
On Saturday, BJP party said that ‘strong action’ would be taken against Jethmalani for making such statements against party President.
The BJP also took strong exception to Ram Jethmalani’s public dissent with senior party leaders Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley who had written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh showing their doubts over the appointment of Ranjit Sinha as the new CBI chief.
The matter gets more serious after Jethmalani said today, “No one has the guts to take action against me.”
Earlier on Friday, Jethmalani wrote a letter to Nitin Gadkari objecting to BJP’s stand on the issue, calling it a result of ‘complete ignorance of relevant facts’ and ‘instigated by a most undesirable rival’.
