Breaking News: Pakistan suspends Poonch-Rawalakot bus service

Among the high tension building between India and Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC), the breaking news state that Pakistan suspended the Poonch-Rawalakot bus service.

However, no particular reason was given by Pakistani officials for suspending the bus service but it is said that the decision came after the growing tense situation between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control.

The tension between the two countries increased after a raid by Pakistani army into the Indian Territory and killing two Indian soldiers and severed the heads of two Indian soldiers.

It is said in news that exchange of firing over the LoC on the Mendhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district where the gruesome act took place

Introduced in June 2006, the Poonch-Rawalakot bus service was the second service between the two countries.

However, in 2005, a bus service connecting Srinagar and Muzaffarabad was launched.
