Amid opposing on FDI in multi-brand retail, Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee is ready to give final touch of her commitment to take her name off the lease, pack up and walk out her party ministers from UPA government as well as support.
After having more than three long years of association with the UPA II coalition government, Mamata’s decision is really a big worry for UPA, but opportunity for Other opposition parties leader such as Mulayam Singh Yadav .
Being much shocked over UPA not to change mood and being hurried on the issue of FDI in retail, Banerjee criticized and said there is no room for negotiation and has no business of doing despite being in a “minority”.
Banerjee’s close aide former rail minister Mukul Roy left out for Delhi and it has been said that her party’s six ministers will come for giving resignations to prime Minister Manmohan Singh today as per saying of Banerjee in Kolkata rally yesterday.
Reports said that, after TMC minister resignation submission, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to address the nation.
“It is not understandable as to what has compelled the present minority government to take a hurried decision on such an important issue which touches the livelihood of millions of common people,” Banerjee said, accusing the govt of allowing FDI in retail from that moment the government is in a minority.
Over Mamata Decision of withdrawal the UPA, Congress is “sad” but stable to the survival as asking about the new entry of allies, the Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters, “If we can acquire new friends, why would we not.”
