The Bollywood Dabangg actor Salman Khan has recently celebrated Eid with his family and now the actor is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in their Galaxy apartment in Bandra.

Talking to media, Salman Khan said, “We brought in Lord Ganesha 11 years ago because Arpita (Salman’s little sister) insisted. She was very keen and took it upon herself to organize every detail of the festival.”

Further, Salman’s mother Salma Khan said, “As she promised, she has been organizing it single-handedly every year since then.”

Meanwhile, the Lord Ganesha stayed at Salman Khan’s home for one-and-a-half days. And number of Bollywood celebrities came to Salman Khan’s residence including Preity Zinta, Sridevi, Bony Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, and many more.

Non-veg food and alcohol are banned in Salman’s home and in fact, the kitchen the cooked foods like modak, masale bhaat, puri and aloo bhaji, vatlidal, pitthi and chana usal.

Salman said, “I love cooking and feeding people. During Ganpati and Eid, I work in the kitchen with the assistance of my cooks.”

Salman Khan’s family has people from all religions like his father is Muslim and mother is Hindu, step-mother belongs to Christianity.

Salman Khan said, “I feel blessed to be born and brought up in a house that respects every religion. The credit goes to mom, dad and Helen aunty. In Galaxy, God is one, though our paths to reach the almighty are different.”
