Now just 100 SMSes per day per SIM: TRAI

Being forced to take step to resolve the menace of pesky spam messages, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has restricted a limit of 100 SMS in a day per SIM which will be at concessional rates.

Without affecting the ordinary phone users, TRAI ensured to set limit much beyond average person daily requirement which will help to stop unregistered telemarketers to send spam messages to users.

Sufi shrine Haji Ali Dargah has restricted the entry of women

According to latest news, the Mumbai’s Sufi shrine Haji Ali Dargah has restricted the entry of women. It is said in reports that the management of Sufi shrine said that the decision is unchangeable.

Hundreds of thousands of devotees come to visit the Sufi shrine Haji Ali Dargah.

Now, the management has ordered that women will not be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum housing the tomb. The tomb is of 15th century Sufi saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari.

Mumbai Police unveils sketch of rapist of foreign national

The Mumbai police has today unveils the sketch of rapist of a 26-year-old foreign national.

On Monday, the Spanish woman had claimed that she was raped at her house in Bandra at knife point and the rapist ran away with some valuables, like a handicam and few euros.

The Mumbai police complaint has said that an unidentified accused entered into her house at 4:30 am and raped at knifepoint.

Master blaster from the Indian cricket team, Sachin Tendulkar is set to achieve another landmark in his cricketing career. Sachin Tendulkar would be conferred the membership of the Order of Australia, an honour “rarely” awarded to non-Australians on Tuesday.

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard had announced to give ‘Order of Australia’ to Sachin during her visit to India in October this year.

Off-Spinner Harbhajan Singh takes on critics, eyes 100th Test

The so called Terminator, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is back in the 15-member Indian cricket team against the first test matches against England. The off-spinner took a dig at his critics, saying that he is “not a magician” and it’s never “one-way traffic” in the career of a sportsperson.

Under Harbhajan’s captaincy the Punjab team beats Hyderabad by an innings in the Ranji trophy and Harbhajan named in the 15-member team.
