Andhra High Court lifts life ban on Azharuddin from playing cricket

The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday announced to lift the life ban on former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharduddin. The BCCI has imposed life ban on Mohammad Azharduddin about 12-years ago.

A bench of justices Ashutosh Mohanta and Krishna Mohan Reddy on Thursday said in their justice and gave relief to Azharuddin, allowing his appeal challenging the order of a local court, which had upheld the decision of BCCI.

Calif. Man behind Anti-Islam Film back in prison

The California man who was handed in an anti-Muslim inflammatory film “Innocence of Muslims” that resulted Middle East deadly violence was on Wednesday sentenced to one year in prison.

Mark Basseley Youssef admitted that he had used several false alias and accused for violation of his probation order from a 2010 bank fraud case, also accepted to obtain a fraudulent California driver’s license under a false name.

Shahrukh-Katrina’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ set to release in Pakistan

At last, just few days of the release of one of the biggest film of the year, Yash Chopra’s last film as a director ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, the news came that the film will release in Pakistan as well.

The film, starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead role, will now release in Pakistan, but not on November 13, it will release on November 16, on Friday.

Earlier, news had said that Yash Chopra’s film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” will not release in Paksitan as Shahrukh plays an Army Officers role posted in Jammu & Kashmir, but now the film gets clearance notice from Pakistan.

Raj Thackeray’s MNS prays for ailing Shiv Seha chief Bal Thackeray

According to the latest news, the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has today prayed for ailing Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

As all the MNS party workers as well as leaders has full faithfulness to Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray before entering to MNS, launched by Raj Thackeray, the failing health of Bal Thackeray had made them worried.

Talking to media, MNS MLA said, “Around 50 MNS party men paid obeisance at prominent pilgrimage centres like Pandharpur, Tuljapur and Akkalkot for the good health of Balasaheb.”

Cabinet clears one-time spectrum fee

The Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has today permits the grant of the Empowered Group of Ministers’ decision of one-time spectrum fee for all existing telecom companies.

Now as per recommendations of the Empowered Group of Ministers, all the mobile operators may have to pay one time spectrum charge which will be only for GSM operators, not CDMA as no bidders for CDMA auction is available.

MS Dhoni bike team targets at all race categories

The Mr. Cool of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni has recently mad his debut in the 600 CC class of the FIM World Superbike Championship and now MS Dhoni is planning to enter in other categories like Sport and Supersport.

Sharing views with media, MS Dhoni said, “We will have to chalk out a plan because there are three categories, Sport, Supersport and Superbike. We will see how it goes. Definitely it’s an option for us.”

The bike team has renamed as ‘Mahi Racing Team India’. Earlier, the team was known as MSD R-N Racing Team India.

Kingfisher Crisis hit Air fare, needs to infuse $1bn

SBI said that it has disappointed with Kingfisher Airlines’s funding raising plans as the airline has needed to infuse $1 billion.

The largest lender of KFA, SBI to whom airline have to pay Rs 1580 crore and the interest, announced to willing to support KFA as a going concern and for that it has likely given KFA time till November 30 to infuse equity.
