At last, just few days of the release of one of the biggest film of the year, Yash Chopra’s last film as a director ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, the news came that the film will release in Pakistan as well.

The film, starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead role, will now release in Pakistan, but not on November 13, it will release on November 16, on Friday.

Earlier, news had said that Yash Chopra’s film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” will not release in Paksitan as Shahrukh plays an Army Officers role posted in Jammu & Kashmir, but now the film gets clearance notice from Pakistan.

Talking to media, Chairman of IMGC Global Entertainment, the local distributors of the film in Karachi, Mr. Amjad Rasheed said, “Yash Raj Films have assured us that the plot of the film will not hurt Pakistani sentiments. The film is coming to Pakistan and is in the process of being imported…The film has received one NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the ministry of regulations and services and is now awaiting another from the ministry of commerce.”

Now, the film would be sent to the Pakistani Censor Board for reviewing next week.

Earlier, Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod were banned in Pakistan as the country’s authorities felt they showed its military and the all-powerful intelligence agency ISI in poor light.
