I wish him to complete 30 years: Kapil Dev

The legend of Indian cricket team, Kapil Dev on Sunday said that master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is in good form and he should complete 30-years in International cricket.

On answering a question about Sachin’s role in the Indian team, Kapil Dev said, “It is great that he (Sachin) has completed 23 years in international cricket. I wish him to complete 30 years. He is playing good.”

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar cancels 90th birthday celebrations

Bollywood buzz state that veteran actor Dilip Kumar has announced to cancel the celebrations of his 90th birthday party, saying that he and his wife Saira Banu are yet to recover from the demise of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, Yash Chopra and Rajesh Khanna

The 89-years-old actor wrote on his blog, “It is appalling how few in the print media take the liberty nowadays to print quotes that spring from the imagination of the scribe. It shocked me and Saira to read newspaper reports with imaginary quotes from Saira about plans to celebrate my birthday!”

Couldn’t have made ‘Sarkar’ without Balasaheb Thackeray, says Ram Gopal Varma

The Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma has said that his films ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’ would not have been possible without Bal Thackeray and he even added some dialogues in these films which were inspired by the Shiv Sena supremo.

Shiv Sena Chief and founder Thackeray died on Saturday.

Ram Gopal Varma tweets, “If Godfather was not there, I wouldn’t have made ‘Sarkar’…if Bala Saheb wasn’t there, I couldn’t have made ‘Sarkar’ (sic).”

Israeli Gaza Bombings continue, no ceasefire guarantee

Apple’s mini iPad worth $1.5 mn stolen in US

The breaking news state that around 3,600 new Apple iPad mini tablet computers worth $1.5 million were stolen from the JFK airport in New York. The news was published in the New York Post.

As per reports by the law-enforcement sources, two people has entered into the JFK airport territory driving a truck and one of them had lifted the luggage which was loaded with tablet computers into their vehicle and left the location.

Lashkar-e-Toiba has tremendous public support in Pak, says Pervez Musharraf

The latest world news state that the former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Saturday said in an interview that Lashkar-e-Toiba enjoys “tremendous public support” in Pakistan and it would be very tough for the Pak government to take action against them.

The former army chief and President was sharing his views with media at a press conference at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit on Saturday.

He said, “They have tremendous public support and during the earthquake in Pakistan, the best NGO doing welfare for the people was their front organization.”

Gambhir flies back to Delhi after grandmother dies

According to latest news, the opener from the Indian cricket team Gautam Gambhir flew back to Delhi before the start of the fourth day`s play in the first Test against England following the death of his grandmother on Sunday.

Talking to media, the media manager Vinod Deshpande has confirmed the news and said that Gautam Gambhir took a flight to Delhi this morning after hearing the news of his grandmother`s death.

Vinod Deshpande said, “I don`t know when he will be back. It probably will depend on what happens today in the match.”
