Delhi High Court dismisses Gopal Kanda’s bail plea

According to latest political news, the Delhi High Court had dismissed bail plea of former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda, the main accused in the Geetika Sharma suicide case, on Monday.

News agencies had said that Justice Pratibha Rani after hearing arguments from Delhi police and Gopal Kanda, and later dismissed the bail plea with saying that detailed order will be passed later.

Meanwhile, Gopal Kanda was booked for abetment of air hostess Geetika Sharma’s suicide and criminal intimidation.

Geetika Sharma, 23-years-old, was found dead at her resident in north Delhi’s Ashok Vihar Aug 5, she was found hanging from the ceiling of her flat.

However, she left behind a suicide note blaming Gopal Kanda and Aruna Chadha responsible for her death. Both, Kanda and Chadha are in judicial custody.
