sachin rajya sabha 150x150 Delhi HC dismisses PIL challenging Sachin Tendulkars RS nominationAccording to latest news, the Delhi High Court on Wednesday dismissed PIL challenging Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s Rajya Sabha nomination.

A division bench of Chief Justice D Murugesan and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw dismissed the PIL which was filed by Ram Gopal Singh Sisodia, a former Delhi legislator, claiming that cricketer Sachin Tendulkar did not possess “special knowledge and practical experience,” a criterion prescribed under Article 80 of the Constitution for such nomination.
