As per source report, defence secretary Sashikant Sharma advised General to closed the case and offered him acceptance of his date of birth as 10 May,1951 by the govt. if he ready to quit on 31 May,2012 .

Such strange condition has brought because if he does not quit from the post then instead of posting of Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Bikram Singh as the next army chief, General will be stay in his position as per this his retirement period will be bring forward from 2012. Read more

suresh kalmadi 300x255 CWG Scam: Suresh Kalmadi gets bail from Delhi High CourtAs per the latest news, Suresh Kalmadi has finally granted bail from the Delhi High Court.

Passed nine months in Tihar jail from 26 April2010 to till, now Suresh Kalmadi has left it after the Delhi High Court granted his bail today.

CBI arrested him on the case of corruption, conspiracy, forgery, misconduct under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Along with him another accused V K Verma has also granted by Court.

Kalmadi who was the chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Commonwealth Games alleged under poor organization for CommonWealth game as bounded in a contract with Swiss Times Omega for timing scoreboards system at an unreasonable cost of Rs 141 crore that causing a loss of Rs 95 crores. Sukh Ram’s bail extended by Supreme Court

sukhram 300x266 Sukh Ram’s bail extended by Supreme CourtAccording to the latest India News, the Supreme Court has extended the interim bail of former Union telecom Minister SukhRam in a 1993 telecom case.

Meanwhile, a bench led by Justice P Sathasivam extended the bail of two other co-accused, former bureaucrat Runu Ghosh and Hyderabad-based entrepreneur P Rama Rao.

In a statement issued by the SC, it said that the court would assume the appeals registered by all 3 challenging their conviction and sentence on August 7.

Earlier on January 9th, the Supreme Court had issued interim bail till today to the former telecom minister, who had surrendered before a trial court to serve his three-year sentence in the scam case. Read more
