Ganpati visarjan 2012 150x150 Ganpati visarjan today; high Security in MumbaiAmong the high notes of Ganpati Bappa Morya, people of India will on Saturday bid adieu to Lord Ganesh idols. The great festival mostly celebrated in Mumbai, Ganesh Chaturthi, with grand fanfare in Mumbai, and the city has security tighten-up for immersion of more than 90,000 idols at 84 different areas.

The 10-days long festival will end today as the high number devotees will gather in Ganesh temples today.

Reports have said that around 25,000 policemen have been deployed in the sity today to handle with any unexpected situations.

Talking to media, Salman Khan said, “We brought in Lord Ganesha 11 years ago because Arpita (Salman’s little sister) insisted. She was very keen and took it upon herself to organize every detail of the festival.”

Further, Salman’s mother Salma Khan said, “As she promised, she has been organizing it single-handedly every year since then.”
