Ace cinematographer Ashok Mehta passes away

This big name in the Hindi film industry, Cinematographer Ashok Mehta passed away on 15 August. Mr. Mehta was suffering from lung cancer and admitted to the hospital several times since February this year.

He was known in the industry for his outstanding camera work in Bollywood films such as ‘Bandit Queen and ‘Gaja Gamini’. Ashok Mehta was 65-years-old.

Number of Bollywood celebrities has mourned the death of ace cinematographer. Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur posts on tweet, saying, “RIP Ashok Mehta. With Respect Love Admiration Regret n Pain.”

Director Madhur Bhandarkar posts, “Sad to hear about demise of the Cinematographer Ashok Mehta who changed the vision of Indian Cinema RIP !!!
