Audi Q3 SUV records May 2012 sales growth of 13%

Luxury car lovers just have to wait for less than five days because Audi AG has come in India to make its debut with its stylish Q3 compact sport-utility vehicle, having graceful demand of customers.

The company announced that hitting a record of huge demand, the first lot of 500 units of the Audi’s smallest SUV in India has sold within five days of its debut.

Scoring continues huge crush among India’s young and aspiring consumer for the German luxury carmaker, even prices are high, Audi’s SUV models demand has been rising in the South Asian market.

Young generation including executives and entrepreneurs in the 25-40 years of age, are on the target point of Audi with ‘Start Young’ campaign with star John Abraham that would push its sales level at the peak.

In line of sport-utility vehicle, the company has already sold the Q5 and Q7 in India and getting good result of these. The recent Q3 is the third SUV model launched in country, and unveiled firstly at showrooms in Mahrashtra.

While talking about its price, the company has made it available with 2.0 TDI quattroengine on June 6 at price of ranging from 2.62 million rupees ($46,911) to 3.15 million rupees.

Source reported, Michael Perschke, head, Audi India said, “The fresh lot of the orders for the second set of 500 vehicles would be made by end of June and these cars should reach the Indian market by August this year.”

All in all, Audi with its strongest debut is ready overtook once again its position in the car segment market, giving tough competition to India’s No.1 largest-selling luxury BMW AG’s X1 and Mercedes Benz as second largest car maker.

Interested users can book their order from end of June and make advance setting for the other SUV offerings in case of limited availability.
