Team India with the high confidence is all set to face England cricket team in the 3rd ODI played at HEC International Cricket Stadium Complex, Ranchi, Jharkhand on January 19.

Further, the will also be the first International cricket match of Indian captain MS Dhoni at his home ground. After losing the 1st ODI against England by 9 runs , India made a strong comeback in the 2nd ODI winning the match by 127 runs.

Captain MS Dhoni had played strong 72 runs innings for his team in the 2nd ODI along with good partnership with Ravindra Jadeja, who also gave his all-round performance in the match.

Team India is now looking for building pressure on touring team by winning the 3rd ODI, however, the top order of team India is still not performing. The out-of-form batsman Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli would be problem for captain MS Dhoni.

During the official inauguration of the stadium in front of the North Pavilion, captain MS Dhoni said, “When I started my international career, people during the overseas tours used to ask me where I came from. I would first say India, then Jharkhand and then Ranchi. The next question invariably was, ‘Where is Ranchi?’ I had to explain in different ways by saying, ‘It’s near Calcutta, near Jamshedpur from where Tata originated. It’s India richest state in terms of minerals.”

He said, “Now the city has its own cricket identity. I can proudly say I’m from Ranchi because of this international stadium. I thank all who contributed in building the stadium. Now it’s up to the people of Jharkhand to make the match a great success.”
