Lance Armstrong faces life ban, will lose Tour De France title

It is said in reports that Lance Armstrong has announced that he will stop fighting a case of drug charges from the US Anti-Doping Agency.

Further, the US Anti-Doping Agency [USADA] has announced that it will strip the seven title of Tour de France given to Lance Armstrong and ban him from sports for life.

With this, Lance Armstrong will also lose the title of one of the greatest sportsmen in the history.

Meanwhile, the announcement was made by Lance Armstrong last night and it is now clear that he will lose the title of Tour de France won from 1999-2005.

He announced his retirement last year and now he refused to enter arbitration, his last option. Talking to media, Lance Armstrong said, “There comes a point in every man’s life when he has to say, “Enough is enough.” For me, that time is now”

He said, “I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in winning my seven Tours since 1999.” He said, “The toll this has taken on my family and my work for our foundation and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense.”

On the other hand, USADA will take Lance Armstrong’s decision as an ‘admission of guilt’, and put the label of drug chest on him, who once was her of millions of people and fight against testicular cancer.
