Pakistan Live: Allies meeting begins in Islamabad

According to latest news released on behalf of Geo News of Pakistan, the meeting of allies’ party has started in national capital of the country to discuss prevailing political situation in Pakistan.

Further, it is said in news that Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has convened the meeting to discuss politician situation and long march of Tahirul Qadri

Geo News has said that the allies meeting was attended Pakistan Muslim League-Q, the MQM, and the ANP leaders.

Earlier, Pakistani government’s anti-corruption NAB’s chief rejected a Supreme Court order to arrest the Prime Minister in corruption case, reasoning not having sufficient evidence.

The evidence in a graft case against Pak PM Raja Pervez Ashraf is weak and needed more time to determine whether the prime minister should be arrested, Fasih Bokhari, head of the National Accountability Bureau told the Supreme Court.

SC directed NAB to submit all records of the investigation against Ashraf.
