Amitabh Bachchan signs off KBC 6 with hopes of returning

The megastar Amitabh Bachchan has just completed the shooting of all the episodes of quiz show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The actor has been associated with the show aired on Sony TV since 2000.

The superstar said there was “a feeling of great remorse” while shooting the last episode.

Meanwhile, the last episode of KBC will go on air on Republic Day January 26.

On his official page of Facebook, Amitabh Bachchan posted, “The season endeth here of KBC! A sadness prevails and there is a feeling of great remorse…”

The show earned much name and fame on the small screen and mainly the down-to-earth nature of Amitabh Bachchan and his kindness to connect with the contestants and also the audiences are the some of the qualities of the actor to earn high respect on small screen as well.

And, it was Amitabh Bachchan’s popularity that forced KBC producers to hire him again and again.

Amitabh Bachchan has hosted five season of KBC out of six in total since 2000. The third season of KBC was hosted by King Khan, Shahrukh Khan.

Further, Amitabh wrote of his Facebook page, “A feeling that cannot be described in words… it is the audience that comes so religiously and stays so calm and disciplined… thank you all … I hope I can be back with you soon… love to all.”

The KBC 6 started on September 7, 2012 and this season of KBC has winners like Kashmir-based Manoj Kumar Raina won Rs 1 crore, and Mumbai-based home tutor Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney winning the grand prize money of Rs 5 crore and became the first woman to win the big prize on the show so far.
