The super star and Dabangg actor of Bollywood, Salman Khan has once again proved that he is the king of Rs 100 crore club in the industry. Latest released film, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, has collected Rs 100 crore in just five days of the release.
This is the fourth film in a row of Salman Khan, doing a business of Rs 100 crore on box office.
On the other hand, this is the first film of Yash Raj Films collection Rs 100 crore. Salman now counts himself among actors like Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn who are among actors whose films have made Rs 100 crore business on box office.
Meanwhile, Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, “Ek Tha Tiger is @BeingSalmanKhan’s 4th century (100 cr), the other three being Dabangg (147 crore), Ready (122 crore) and Bodyguard (148 crore).”
He later tweets that Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger is the first film to collect Rs 100 crore in just five days, which is a record. He said, “India actual: Sun 23.06 cr. Total: 100.16 cr nett. SUPERB. Fastest 100 cr grosser ever – 5 days (Hindi films). NEW RECORD!”
Further, he tweets, “Ek Tha Tiger Eid festivities begin. Mon to Wed biz will be spectacular, again. Like I said on Thu morning, picture abhi baaki hain..”
Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Shorey, Girish Karnad and Gavie Chahal played main roles in the film; Kabir Khan is the director of the film.
