Taliban militants armed rocket and a suicide car bomber attacked on Bacha Khan international Peshawar Airport in Pakistan on Saturday night.
As per Pakistani security official report, at least three Taliban rockets launched in resident areas near by airport causing nine casualties including women and children and five attackers and more than 45 injured.
However, still no details are to be cleared that if the militants entered the airport, but as per source report, militants tried to enter the airport, but Pak forces repulsed them in a gunfight for more than 30 minutes.
Pakistan’s army fired back, battling with Taliban militants to repulse the attack after Saturday’s rocket attack launched, all five of whom were killed, sources said.
This was the major explosive in the Peshawar Airport, a high-profile commercial hub and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) military base, triggered the violence with huge gunfire and explosives.
All the flights have been canceled, airport have sealed to access as security tighten in Peshawar, one of the major city witnesses frequent bomb and gun attacks by Taliban militant groups.
