The one of the best directors of Bollywood, yash Chopra has today celebrated his 80th birthday. Many of the Bollywood stars wished him birthday wishes by posting best wishes on Twitter.

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi tweets, “’Happy birthday Yash Chopraji. How wonderful u turn 80 2day mashallah and hve a film ready for release. More power to you.”

Actor Anupam Kher tweets, “Met Birthday Boy & All Time GODFATHER of India Cinema Yash ji & wished him on your behalf too, A Very Happy and Peaceful Birthday.:)”

On the other hand, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has today hosted a live chat show with Yash Chopra.

During the live chat show, Yash Chopra said that his love for poetry and how he became a good friend of actress Meena Kumari after he wrote her a poem. Yash ji said, “I was a Punjabi munda and I had hair.”

He said that actress Meena Kumari told him to be an actor, and he replied to her, “I speak so fast that the film made will be very short.”

Meanwhile, Yash Chopra will be directing a film after a long time, the film has lead actor like Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sherma. The film , Jab Tak Hai Jaan, will release on Diwali on Nov 13.
