It was a cool, pleasant Friday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling at 26 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year. The weather department has forecast showers ahead.

“The sky will remain cloudy. It is likely to rain towards the evening,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius, added the official.

A total of 0.4 mm of rain was recorded in the last 24 hours till 8.30 a.m. Friday.

Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 81 percent.

Thursday’s maximum temperature was recorded at average 33.8 degrees, while the minimum temperature was a notch above the normal at 26.5 degrees Celsius. (IANS)
