In yet amid public outrage on Uttar Pradesh government over the murder of a senior police officer in Kunda, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav promised to take action against the guilty.
UP government which has recommended a CBI probe and assured to be cooperative with investigations, still has not issued any arrest warrant against SP leader Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya booked in the murder of DSP Zia-ul-Haq on Saturday.
“Anyone involved in the conspiracy will not be spared,” Akhilesh told reporters after visiting the family of the slain village head Nanhe Yadav.
While, CM assurance has failed to prevent his government from angry jeers as no statements has been made over Raja Bhaiya arrest, strongly demanded by the slain officer wife who filed complaint against him to kill her husband in a planned manner.
Kunda is the epicentre of the controversy as well as constituency of Raja Bhaiya, one of the major accused in the case who resigned his post due to amid force from ministers.
However, Police said that the post-mortem report of the DSP has received which show only one bullet injury and the bullet is untraceable. As per Police before acting upon any decision or charging anyone with offences, it needs to be identified the killer that who committed the crime.
Investigations are on as the request of slain DSP widow for a CBI probe has been accepted by UP govt with assistance of a compensation of Rs 20 lakhs each to two member of victim’s family.
