First Look: Aamir Khan on ‘Time’ Magazine’s cover page

The Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan is now the only third actor from the industry to grace on the cover page of ‘Time Magazine’ after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Parveen Babi.

The actor is featured on the cover page of the magazine with the caption Khan’s Quest. The blurb says – He’s breaking the Bollywood mould by tackling India’s social evils.

Meanwhile, actress Parveen Babi first makes the Time cover page in July 1976 and then Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 1993.

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was the last Indian to be featured on the cover page of Time magazine. However, Mahatma Gandhi made the Time cover page three times, other include Sonia Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Narendra Modi.

The better performance of Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate on Star Plus has helped him to get amazing TRPs, which helped his to get on the cover page of Tme magazine.

Aami’s Satyamev Jayate was on air for 13 weeks and the actor talked on very sensitive issues like female foeticide, education, and touched audiences’ hearts.
