Bollywood actor Salman Khan has recently said in an interview that he hates going out in public to promote his film before its release.
He said he had a busy last year as he was promoting his films ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Dabangg 2’. He said that he miss the old days when putting up films poster was just a matter of promotion of the film.
Talking to media, Salman said, “I don’t like movie promotions… Today you have to keep aside a month and half for promotions because producers tie up with so many brands. Producers have become kanjus (stingy) today. Back then just a films poster was enough but today you have to go to so many cities, talk to so many people. It is very hectic.”
The actor was sharing his views with media during his NGO Being Human’s tie up with Coca Cola and NIIT for scaling up the beverage brand’s Career Development Center, an initiative to empower and educate youth in rural areas.
The actor he want all his fans to come forward as education and employment plays a vital role in the development of any country.
Salman said, “Being human was my parents idea, I have just streamlined it. I am very proud of being a part of this initiative and hope that benefits maximum children.”
Further, when media asked the actor that how does he manage his NGO between hectic movie shootings, he joked, “I go late on movie sets, leave early.”
