The Indian Post has recently announced the launch of special Rakhi envelopes on the beautiful occasion of Raksha Bandhan falling on 2 August 2012.
Meanwhile, the newly launched envelopes by India Post are available in all Post Offices in national capital at the cost price of Rs 7 each.
Further, the envelopes are available in different colors and have slash resistant, light weight and elegant printability/hand written, are available in size 11cms x 22.
In a statement issued by the India Post on Wednesday said, “Size very ideal for any ideal size of Rakhi available in the market. The flaps are with Peel & Seal mechanism to protect Rakhi from damages. The word ‘RAKHI’ is written in English on left hand top on the front side with India Post Logo.”
Ministry of Communications and IT said in a statement, “For the benefit and convenience of its customers India Post has ventured to serve better by value addition to its core services.”
