Kamra Air Base Attack: six militants and 2 army men killed

As per latest news, several terrorists wearing military uniforms, attacked Pakistan Air Force base, storming a forceful gunfight in which two Pakistani troops and six suspected Islamic militants were killed.

The attackers were have nuclear weapons, assault rifles and hand grenades that resulted a long destructive gun fight after attacking one of Pakistan’s largest air bases Minhas at Kamra yesterday which as on high alert.

An official source said, no Pakistani air base, not even at Kamra, in central Punjab province, did not house nuclear weapons.

However, there is no report what was happened with remaining terrorists whether they had escaped or beaten, while source said that reporters who reached the site later reported that there was no sound of fighting.

But as per media information, one aircraft had fired, but the situation was under control. The Pakistani security forces conducted a search operation for investigating other terrorists.

Moreover, still there is no report of taking responsibility for attack by any terrorist group, but Pakistani security force termed it the Taliban group which already being targeted the Karachi’s Mehran naval air base in May 2011.
