Kejriwal’s indefinite fast today, launching Non-Co-operative movement

Being continued his fight against corruption, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal is sitting on an indefinite hunger strike today, launching a non-co-operation movement.

This time fast is against Delhi government and Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit allegedly to nexus with power and water companies to illegally overcharging Delhi residents on both their water and electricity bills.

“The time has come to motivate people against illegal rise in taxes by the Delhi government,” Kejriwal told reporters, calling Delhi Govt a deaf.

He will also launch door-to-door campaigns in 264 wards across Delhi, appealing people not to pay water and power bills according to the increased tariff, source said.

Still no indications are of time limit of how long Kejriwal’s fast would last. The venue of the fast will be at a house near the sub-divisional magistrate’s office in Sundernagari in east Delhi.

The owner of the house is the victim of increased bills as had taken a loan to pay water and power bills, Kejriwal added.

AAP activist set to enter in the elections this year got registered with the Election Commission (EC) on Friday.  And when asking about social activist Anna Hazare who has declined to join this protest, Kejriwal assured that he will come.
