Live: 72 hrs Ultimatum ends, Will Mamata walk out from UPA!

TMC MAMATA BANERJEE 150x150 Live: 72 hrs Ultimatum ends, Will Mamata walk out from UPA! Today evening is the most controversial evening as the political icon West Bengal CM, TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee will take her final decision whether to continue with UPA led Congress or withdraw her party members from its coalition.

The 72-hour ultimatum which was given by Banerjee to the UPA over roll back the fuel price hike along with FDI in multi retailing is ending today and now waiting is for TMC, the second largest constituent of the 40-month old UPA government’s deadline that if the Union Cabinet not revise the fuel price, then TMC will take strict action against it.

However, there is no reaction from side of UPA government which is seem to be very confident that Mamata not walk out from its coalition and would stay as a key UPA ally.
Announcing govt. monetary policy, Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram confirmed that the government is never bow against pressure putting by some key allies on UPA’s largest constituent – the Congress over the decisions on diesel, LPG and multi-brand retail.

“We hope we will be able to convice Mamata, she is a very valued ally of the UPA. She has made it clear she does not want the government to fall,” a senor minister told reporters.

Major reason behind this stated that 2013 panchayat polls in Bengal and Lok Sabha polls in 2014 are going to close in which Mamata is to contesting and if her govt take such withdrawal decision, then it would be difficult for her to face challenges.

Meanwhile, SP and BSP are eagerly awaiting Mamata’s decision as if Mamata walked out from the UPA, Congress-led coalition, the door for Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav will be opened doe being entered.

Final decision would be come out today evening and for that reports said , Mamata has called a party meeting, directing all party’s ministers, senior leaders and parliamentary board of the Trinamool Congress to meet at Town Hall in the evening to decide future course of action.
