Mamata Banerjee support Anna Hazare, says Parliament must be dissolved

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday announced her support for Anna Hazare’s demand for immediate dissolution of Parliament. Mamata added that the UPA government was a minority one with one-party rule.

Talking to media at a press conference, Mamata Banerjee said, “This is a minority government and I totally agree with Hazare’s demands made yesterday. The UPA government came to power with our support. After we left we wrote to the President that we have withdrawn support from the government. This is a Congress government now, not a UPA government.”

The Trinamool Congress chief added, “They don’t have any right now as it is a minority government.”

Earlier, Mamata said in media that the ruling party of the country, UPA, was a minority one with one-party rule

On the other hand, social activist Anna Hazare and retired Army Chief VK Singh on Monday demanded immediate dissolution of Parliament.
