“I will ask Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan to accept Ajit Pawar’s resignation as Deputy Chief Minister,” Sharad Pawar told reporters, with a warn to other minister immediately resume their work.

After NCP party meeting, Pawar announced his statement accepting Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan’s condition to bring out a white paper on irrigation contracts that made public, hinting further political crisis that affect Maharashtra government, the Congress-NCP coalition.

On Tuesday with a strong support of 19 NCP ministers in the government who had also ready to quit from the govt, Ajit submitted his resignation over allegedly having connection in a Rs 20,000 crore irrigation scam scandal, bowing Congress-NCP coalition political platform.

Ajit’s resignation is likely to forward to the state Governor, for final touch.
