Pak censor bans promos of Akshay Kumar`s `Khiladi 786`

As per latest Bollywood news, the Pak censors have banned the promos of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar`s latest film ‘Khiladi 786’ due to the number 786 is revered by some Muslims and could hurt their sentiments.

In addition, the Pak Censor Board has ordered the cinema halls as well as the distributors not to release the film promos. Meanwhile, “Khiladi 786” is to get green signal from the Pak Censor Board.

The Dawn newspaper reported that the number 786 is revered by some Muslims and the promos of the film could hurt their sentiments.

Talking to media, Censor Board Chairman Raja Mustafa Haider said, “The appearance of banners for the film in Rawalpindi and other areas was brought to my notice and I asked the City District Government Rawalpindi to remove all of them.”

He has not disclosed any further decision on this issue, he said, “We will decide it when the movie comes to us, before screening in the cinema houses.”

Further, Film distributor Suhail Mukhtar, the Pak Censor Board has the legal right to change the name of the film if it was found to be objectionable.
