The latest released film ‘Dabangg 2’ has so far earned Rs 100.78 crore in just six days and still going strong at the box office.
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 joined the Rs 100 crore club and the film is a sequel of the 2010 super hit film Dabangg with which actress Sonakshi Sinha started her Bollywood career.
Earlier, Dabangg was shooting in a village and had the rustic, rural flavour of Uttar Pradesh, but the sequel ‘Dabangg 2’ story has shifted to a posh metropolitian city.
The sequel was made under the Arbaaz Khan Production and story was written by Dilip Shukla. This is the debut film of Arbaaz Khan as a director.
‘Dabangg 2’ was released in over 3500 screens allover the country on December 21.
Year 2012 was very luck for Salman Khan, his EID release film ‘EK Tha Tiger’ directed by Kabir Khan was a super hit and now ‘Dabangg 2’.
The opening day collection of ‘Dabangg 2’ was Rs 21.10 crore and in just three days the film earned Rs 65.16 crores.
