Shahrukh Khan has been too busy for me, says Subhash Ghai

Relationship between filmmaker Subhash Ghai and actor Shahrukh Khan has not gone sour but the director said that Shahrukh Khan is now too bust to work with him.

Subhash Ghai, 67-years-old filmmaker, said, “Shah Rukh has been too busy for me. But I can’t blame him. It might be because he is also a producer now and has different hats to juggle. But I love my actors. They are like my children. He is like one too and I know he loves me and respects me.”

Meanwhile, Ghai had worked with Shahrukh in films like Trimurti (1995) and Pardes (1997).

On the other hand, Salman Khan had done film with the filmmaker in 2008, Yuvvraaj, and again Salman is working with Subhash Ghai in his next film ‘Kaanchi’.

The filmmaker said, “Yes my next movie after Kaanchi (Ghai’s immediate directorial venture) will be with Salman. It’ll be a drama-action-comedy and a complete package deal that audiences associate with Salman.”

Earlier this year, the Supreme Court ordered Subhash Ghai to return 20 acres of land in Mumbai that was allotted for his film school, Whistling Woods International, and the filmmaker is trying hard to save his academy from shutting down.

He said, “I’m sure I’ll get fair justice from the judiciary as well as the state government.”
