According to latest news, car makers Volkswagen has announced to roll-out its next generation SUV Touareg with its price rage starts from Rs 58.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company said that the newly launched vehicle would be available in the market in a diesel version with automatic transmission.

The new Volkswagen SUV Touareg is 41mm longer, 12 mm wider. It comes loaded with bi xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and a panoramic sunroof.

The new SUV is powered with a 3 litre V6 TDI engine which offers a high power of 245PS@3800-4400rpm. The new SUV Touarge has a milage of 12.08 kmpl.

The company said in a statement that the vehicle has a ’14 way’ electrically adjustable front seats and two piece front center armrest with movable with storage compartment. The vehicle also has safety features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESP), ABS with brake assistant and driver & passenger airbags.

Further, the Volkswagen SUV Touareg will be available in the market in seven colours, Pure White, Deep Black, Cool Silver metallic, Night Blue metallic, Graciosa Brown metallic, Galapagos anthracite metallic and Campanella White.

Talking to media during the launch, MD, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Arvind Saxena said, “India is a key market for our overall strategic growth plans and we are sure that the launch of the best products will affirm our commitment to provide the latest technologies and high value to our Indian customers.”

He said, “The Touareg has been a well-accepted carline in India thanks to its agile performance and off roading capabilities. The new generation makes no compromise towards this and our customers can look forward to an even more exciting experience.”
