According to latest reports, the Indian selection board has announced the names for the series against New Zealand as well as ICC World T20 Championships today.

The two Singhs made a comeback in the Indian cricket team, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh. Yuvraj is making a comeback after nine months and his fight with cancer, Harbhajan Singh is making a comeback into the team after one year.

Yuvraj has been selected for the squad for the Twenty20 matches against new Zealand on September 8 and 11 and also for T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka starting from September 18.

Talking to media, chairman of selectors K Srikkanth said, “Yuvraj has been declared fit, so he makes a comeback. And all of us know, if he gets going, he can singlehandedly win matches.”

India will play two-test match against New Zealand starting from August 23.

In addition, one fresh chance is given to Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, to prove themselves in the international cricket.

Piyush Chawla is a surprise addition into the team. And, Laxmipathy Balaji is also making a comeback, based on his powerful performance in IPL 2012 for Kolkata Knight Riders.
