Even on the third day of Team Anna‘s indefinite fast against the UPA, the thin crowd nearly about 300 in morning at Jantar Mantar responded poorly that slowing Anna’s phenomenon. It is said to be fast losing public support.
Reports said, crowds still keeping away from the protest site where some people misbehaved with women media persons.
It has been said that Team Anna’s agitation in a poor light has lost its steam, wore a deserted look with people seen only near the stage. And as Hazare came on stage, people misbehaved.
Even Anna’s supporters who have disappointed from poor response of thin crowd heckled media persons, pushed journalists on Friday who were capturing their latest indefinite fast.
While matter was gone to Police, the organizers clearly said that their persons were not involved in such acts and those indulging against them police should take strict actions.
Source said, fasting Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal, a diabetic patient made a brief appearance at the dais due to worse health condition.
Shockingly, Kiran Bedi, one of the fast supporters of Anna was also not appeared at the dais, while Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai sat with Hazare.
She posted on twitter, “today in Pune for two prior committed speaking engagements. Perhaps a bit of a break of a different kind”.
Seeing the fast poor public support, the Congress grabbing
opportunity and strongly criticize Hazare for his recent interviewing in which he said that although he would not contest elections, but was ready to join it if people wanted him to.
MoS in the PMO, V Narayanasamy claimed that Anna Team has been fooling the people of the country. Their true intentions have been political ambitions. Over Team Anna’s losing party members faith, he added, “Everyone knows the background of Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi. We are not dividing Team Anna. They were always divided.”
