In joining hands with anti corruption social activist Anna Hazare, Yoge Guru Baba Ramdev will sit on a day-long fast at Jantar Mantar in national capital today against corruption and black money stashed abroad.
From a long awaited past year, it will be their first joint appearance in front of public on stage via their anti-UPA protests with Ramdev’s Bharat Swabhiman Andolan organising protests.
As per information provided from media, his rally against corruption has started early this morning from the Azad Hind Gram near Mundka and firstly Ramdev go to Rajghat the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi to be joined by Anna.
After that, joint force will march to Shaheed Park and then to the Parliament Street. While reaching at the parliament Street, their fast will start with nearly about 5000 people in support just outside a police station as per police prescribed.
At the place of Jantar Mantar amid tight security has been deployed with full forceful arrangements of Police personnel along with 20 paramilitary forces companies, a senior Officer told reporters.
Ramdev’s move to join with Anna campaign will also seek his step to unveil his 2014 General Elections’s strategy.
It is coincide that Sunday’s fast in which Ramdev demands to come back black money deposited in abroad, will held on end of one year’s police charge to remove Ramdev from Ramlila Maidan while he strike against corruption.
It is expected that core committee members Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai are to join them in the fast, while chances to see retired Army chief Gen VK Singh in the fast are also high.
“The people are with us. They will leave their homes and face the hot weather to support us. The agitation will start at 10 am all across the country and end at 6 pm. Government will have to bow down before the people,” Ramdev said while interacting with media.
