Due to Social activist Anna Hazare’s ill health, the campaign against five bound states poll had been postponed.
After that all are waiting for Anna’s next steps to be forward, Now the core committee of Anna’s Team has decided to campaign for UP elections from Faizabad next month.
It will be scheduled on 3 February, just 5 days before first phase of elections of February 8. However the work would be started on next month by organizing different programme that led to contacting with people or voters.
Through these programme the Anna Team will tried to encourage voters and create awareness regarding their right to ask questions from the candidates instead of being made a part of caste or communal factors.
Although the main motive of team will be of show out the actual fact behind the politics that speak about society welfare and its beneficiary but actually take force to raise the corruption and illegal elements in nation.
The main issue Corruption that spread over across the world will be first most to be discussed and then Mr. Hazare Team carried forward all the situations that they faced during their last campaign.
While talking to Media, Gopal Verma who is a social activist and member of India Against corruption clarified, “The meeting in Faizabad would be attended by Arvind Kerjriwal and Kiran Bedi. We would try and make people see the ugly face of democracy when all political parties gang up to scuttle legislation of a strong Lokpal. We would also highlight the double speak of the political parties which take high moral ground when they speak on the issue of corruption but in practice give tickets to corrupt and criminal elements.”
But for whole campaign Mr. Anna will not be there as has been advised to take rest by the doctors. This may weaken it but his team will hold public meetings in different parts of the Faziabad from February 6 to March 3.
Expectations are made that members of the core committee of India Against Corruption Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Kumar Vishwas and Manish Sisodiya, Sanjay Singh will be present in the programme.
Meanwhile Anna’s strategy to use voters’ awareness driver is expected to removal of the tag as “Campaign is only against Congress”. This issue had risen up in last year election on October, when Team Anna had campaign in Harayana and Bihar, and then Congress candidates lost by-elections. And once again Anna Team is coming in UP for their campaign that would really take a big bouncer against Congress that seeking to be the most affecting party from campaign for ‘Strong Lokpal’.
