Movie Review: Don 2 collects Rs 48.39 cr at Box Office in first weekend

According to the latest Bollywood news, the much awaited film of Shahrukh Kha, Don 2, has got a good start at the Box Office in the country. Reports have said that the film has managed to collect around Rs 48.39 crore in the first week of the release.

However, the film fails to do as good as expect from it. Grand publicity was done for the film in the country as well as allover the world.

Reports have said that the film has collected Rs 15.3 crore at Box Office on the first day from three versions like Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. With this, the film has become the third highest earning film on the opening day in Bollywood.

However, experts said that the business of the film will improve further. On the second day of the release, the film collected Rs 15.09 crore at Box Office, showing a slight growth of 20-25 percent on the third film, the Shahrukh-Priyanka starrer film earned Rs 18 crore. Read More

Shahrukh’s DON 2 , the Sequel of his 2006 film, which was itself a remake of the 1978 Amitabh Bachchan starrer, is directed by Farhan Akhtar who was very confidently said in his interview that viewers seeking anything other than pure thrills and entertainment from this film.

ShahRukh Khan praises Amitabh Bachchan as the original Don

The King Khan of Bollywood, ShahRukh Khan has recently said in an interview that Super star Amitabh Bachchan is the “cent per cent original Don”, adding that Don 2 was inspired by the 1978 film starring Big B.

Talking to media, during the promotion of the film, the actor said, “Amit ji is cent per cent Don and I have full respect for him,” SRK told reporters on his maiden visit to Patna to promote his film, ‘Don 2.”
