According to the latest Bollywood news, the much awaited film of Shahrukh Kha, Don 2, has got a good start at the Box Office in the country. Reports have said that the film has managed to collect around Rs 48.39 crore in the first week of the release.
However, the film fails to do as good as expect from it. Grand publicity was done for the film in the country as well as allover the world.
Reports have said that the film has collected Rs 15.3 crore at Box Office on the first day from three versions like Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. With this, the film has become the third highest earning film on the opening day in Bollywood.
However, experts said that the business of the film will improve further. On the second day of the release, the film collected Rs 15.09 crore at Box Office, showing a slight growth of 20-25 percent on the third film, the Shahrukh-Priyanka starrer film earned Rs 18 crore.
Though, Don 2 failed to hit the Rs 50 crore marks in the first weekend.
On the other hand, the volume of theatrical release of Shahhukh’s Don 2, which graced 3,103 screens allover India, is bigger than the biggest releases of this year huge films like Ra.One and Bodyguard.
But the collection of the film is not even the half of the collection of Salman Khan’s Bodyguard.
Another reason is said to be just three-days weekend while Ra.One and Bodyguard has five-days weekend.
